The Elusive Language of Purple Birds

48 x 48 inches

Mixed media collage of paper, paint, inks, and pastels with sculpey additions on two loose canvases hanging from a wooden rod.

Inspired by a poem--or droom--by the same name, channelled for Robin Spriggs's book The Untold Tales of Ozman Droom.

The poem is handwritten on the smaller canvas, and it is detachable from the rod. There is also art on the other side of the poem.
