Across the Miles

Colorful 12 x 12 x 1.5 inch mixed media on canvas. Collage, acrylic paint, watercolor, pastels. It feels like flowers splashed across the canvas. It’s called “Across the Miles” because it has clippings of love letters from my Grandaddy to my Grandmother when my dad was a child. He was a pilot and was often writing from Europe somewhere. Usually Germany where he was stationed and then later where he had business. Which is interesting as his grandfather was from Germany.
